A Foundation for Success

I Can delivers both non qualification and qualification based Alternative Education / Education Other Than at School for young people which ensures that learners are on the right path to success for them personally. In doing so, it ensures that individual learners have a solid basis for learning and improving, thus providing a solid foundation for partner organisations to increase and sustain retention together with improving the learners’ journey and building their character, skills and confidence.

We teach the timeless and universal principles and qualities of success as a strong foundation upon which individual learners and partner organisations working with them can build further skills to help them achieve their goals and dreams. We aim to prove to our learners that they have everything they need to be successful in all areas of their life and to show them how to achieve this. Our goal is that in the short to medium term they will become more receptive to working with our partner organisations in Education, Employment or Training.

In the longer term, they will not only achieve their ultimate goals, but will also experience the profound fulfilment that they desire and deserve.

Outcomes

Successful completion of the I Can be Persuaded (non accredited in house certificate), I Can be Successful (Award - 9 credits) and the progression on to I Can be Trained (Certificate - 6 credits) will accumulate a total of 15 credits and will earn the learners 2 levels of the City and Guilds Award and Certificate in Employability and Personal Development (7546) qualifications bringing with it 25 Performance / SCAAT Points.

These qualifications recognise the personal development skills and the generic employability skills that help learners to seek, obtain and maintain employment.
