about our social programmes

Advertise hereOur aim is to make a significant positive difference in the lives of the individuals in our client groups.

We are a City and Guilds and ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Approved Centre and we deliver qualification based Socia programmes as well as creating innovative visionary community projects.

Our programmes are both innovative and specialist learning opportunities and are City and Guilds hoveraccredited in order to meet the learning needs of individuals and further develop the knowledge and skills base of many different client groups.

Our aim to put our best endeavours into ensuring that we use the best venues, where applicable, that are associated with the purpose our programmes are designed to achieve. We will endeavour to avoid using venues that do not inspire and reflect the value we place on our client group.

Our core programme i can be successful is a powerful, holistic, principle-centred, desire-based and flexible success programme that has been tailored and adopted for use with multi-client groups. It covers a number of areas such as self-esteem, education, training, employment, raising positive children, winning relationships and more.

i can programmes have been specifically designed by Suhan Mihcioglu (a leading training provider both overseas and within the North East) to empower the individual to discover what they truly value in their life.

We will focus on creating a lasting impact by breaking through fears and inspiring clarity to help the client group decide what they really want in life and what they are here to contribute.

Moreover, most if not all training programs available in the market today are skill-based, in other words, they address the questions of ‘what to, how to and why’, e.g., how to apply for a job or do a job.

Therefore, their effectiveness and value may not have longevity.

Our methods and programs are ‘principle-centred’ and ‘desire based’. Obviously they are designed to teach the necessary skills but most importantly, they make people ‘want to’ be, ‘want to’ do and ‘want to’ have, and succeed in whatever task they take on.

We will work alongside minority ethnic groups including refugees and asylum seekers by translating our i can programmes and providing the same service to them so as to help Government’s goal of encouraging more people (whose native language is not English) to go into education, training and employment.

We have developed the following clear objectives;

  • To be driven by outcome and results, and not statistics and figures.
  • Help individuals, charities, schools, colleges, local authorities, companies, and other public and private sector organisations think outside the box. To work with them to utilise the most effective approach to address the cause of the underlying problems and to be able to facilitate a dramatic and significant positive change in our culture and the way we live our day-to-day lives.
  • Assist particular client groups in removing labels that society has pinned on them from their past, and to take them in a new, focussed and exciting direction of where they want to be, label free, with a solid foundation and relevant skills to build a better life, leading them into education, employment or training.
  • Produce a transferable experience for the trainers and advisors for the continuous use and repetition of the i can programmes so as to enable them to have a bank of knowledge to aid them in the teaching of intangible skills and communicate this to their client groups and, therefore achieve maximum awareness, impact and coverage in order to make a significant contribution to the success of education in the United Kingdom.
  • Help reduce unemployment, homelessness, crime, addictions, teenage pregnancy, binge drinking and sexually transmitted diseases
  • Help increase engagement and progress to further education, employment or training
  • Help people to find jobs or change careers if they wish
  • Help reduce obesity
  • Help parents bring up healthy and positive children in a negative world
  • Help Service leavers make the transition from the Armed Forces into civilian life
  • Help organisations to be outcome driven and not statistically driven
  • Help increase our client group’s interest in services and resources available from all agencies
  • Create community based projects through the surplus monies that will be re-invested into the local area

The Future

I Can has a vision – we are going to bring our ‘I can’ attitude to as many regions in the UK as possible. We know that our approach works – we have seen some amazing results and have shown that lives can be turned around with self confidence and self belief.

If we had our way, the ‘I Can’ principles would be on every school curriculum so that kids learn how to fulfil their true potential before they go out on their own.
